On June 6th, 580 pilgrims from the Diocese travelled to Lourdes on the 60th anniversary of the first pilgrimage from the Diocese and the 160th anniversary of the first apparition at Lourdes.
It was a wonderful week for young and old, where all mingled together to pray, reflect with a few laughs in between. Bishop Cullinan led the pilgrimage and presided over the Eucharistic Procession on Friday 8th. We were blessed with good weather, and this allowed our special guests to be taken out to all the ceremonies and enjoy the outdoor prayer life.
Our Mass at the Grotto was very special, as was the Anointing Ceremony which is the highlight for many of our sick pilgrims.
