The annual Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes has been a huge success, with 560 people travelling to Our Lady’s Shrine.
The pilgrimage was accompanied by Bishop Alphonsus Cullinan, Bishop William Lee, and 10 Priests from the Diocese, including Fr. Conor Kelly, the pilgrimage director.
108 assisted pilgrims were the main focus of the pilgrimage, where Doctors, Nurses, Handmaids, Cara group and brancardiers attended to their every need. 95 youth also travelled with the pilgrimage under the guidance of their leaders. They provided wonderful care too, and helped to make the pilgrimage an uplifting experience for everyone. The Lourdes diocesan choir provided suitable music throughout the pilgrimage.
