The Invitation
If you are a young adult (aged 18 – 35) you are warmly invited to join us on our Jubilee Year Frassati Camino from 31st July – 4th August.
What can you expect? A few days in the style of Pier Giorgio Frassati: hiking, camp fires, music and prayer, making new friendships and deepening existing ones, time to reflect on life, learn from the wisdom of the saints, be guided by Spiritual Directors and unwind each evening with music, camp fires, chat and games!

Draft (Walking) Programme Outline
Our time together is designed to build fellowship, providing opportunities to explore and share in our rich Catholic heritage.
Day 1 (Thursday evening) – Arrival at Holy Family Glencomeragh House for orientation.
Day 2 (Friday) – Rock of Cashel to Cahir (20km) followed by evening programme at Holy Family Mission
Day 3 (Saturday): – Liam Lynch Monument to Mt. Melleray (18km) followed by evening programme at Holy Family Mission
Day 4 (Sunday) – CLismore to Villierstown (<20km) followed by evening programme at Holy Family Mission
Day 5 (Monday ): – Ballycurrane to Ardmore (15km – including 4K of the cliff walk). Short programme at Holy Family Mission then departure.
Cost of the Pilgrimage
Cost: €275
Price includes:
- Half-Board Accommodation at Holy Family Mission, Glencomeragh House, Kilsheelan, Co. Tipperary (shared room basis)
- Insurance
- Packed lunch daily
- Bus transfers to and from St Declan’s Way each day
- Full Spiritual Programme including Daily Mass

- St. Declan’s Way is a modern walking route linking the ancient ecclesiastical centres of Ardmore in County Waterford and Cashel in County Tipperary. It is 56 miles (96 kilometres) long and crosses the Knockmealdown Mountains at Bearna Cloch an Buideal (Bottleneck Pass), an elevation of 537m. Apart from this stretch, the route passes through undulating farmland.
