Wonderful to see such a large crowd join us in the Cathedral today for the Canonisation Celebration for St Carlo Acutis and St Pier Giorgio as we spent time in adoration together. After a talk by Youth & Young Adult Ministry Officer, Nodlaig Lillis, Sr Kathryn Press led us a Scripture passage very close to Pier Giorgio’s heart, from 1 Corinthians 13. He transcribed this passage and kept it with him. Thanks to Olivia Elliott and her team of helpers, Liam, Róisín, Amelia, Chloe, Michael and Jack for leading us beautifully in the rosary and prayers through the intercession of our new saints. After a time of silent prayer and beautiful music by Fr Patrick Cahill, our time of adoration drew to a close and close to 250 present had the opportunity to be blessed by a First Class Relic of Carlo Acutis. May our young saints continue to guide and inspire us always.
