Our music workshop for choirs will take place on Saturday 1st October. Registration will begin at 10am with the workshop starting at 10.30am. It is envisaged that it will end at 1pm approximately. The fee for the workshop is €10 which will include the music handout and light refreshments. To book, please email [email protected] or call 051-874199.
The theme for the workshop is “Singing through the Seasons – A collection of Common Music for the Liturgical Seasons”. – Advent, Christmas, Ordinary Time, Lent, Easter.
The workshop will be presented by Karen O’Donovan and Ciaran Coll. Both Karen and Ciaran are well known for their work in Liturgical music. They recently facilitated very successful workshops at the Irish Church Music Summer School in Maynooth. As we meander our way back to parish life after the restrictions of the last few years, this is an ideal way to re-invigorate your choirs and offer them the facility of continuous formation which is so important for all of us.
