Students from the CBS High School, Clonmel, will be assisting at the Mass on RTE News on Monday 24 January at 10.30am, to mark Catholic Schools Week. The Mass will come as usual from Holy Family Church, Ardfinnan, and the celebrant will be the school chaplain, Fr. Michael Toomey.
Catholic Schools Week begins on Sunday, 23 January, and its theme is ‘Catholic Schools: Living Life to the Full’. In light of the challenges and uncertainty we have collectively faced over the past year, this year we are presented with the opportunity to reflect on how our faith sustains us and how we as a community support and care for each other. In this context, we can consider ways that the parish community can honour and support the work of their Catholic school during this week-long celebration.
The students from the High School Clonmel, are members of the newly formed Music Group, and will take part in the readings, prayers as well as sharing their musical and singing talents.
