Jubilee Lecture Series – St. Paul’s Church

St. Paul’s Church in Lisduggan has begun preparations for this special year in their history, as they celebrate the Golden Jubilee of the parish.  More details will be provided in the coming months, as they make their way through the year.  For now, a lecture series has been organised, and all details are outlined below.  All are welcome!

All lectures will take place in St. Paul’s Parish Centre

1. Wednesday 16^thFebruary, 7.30 P.M. – The Wyses of the Manor of St John, Lisduggan – Waterford’s most colourful and historic family – Eamonn McEneaney, Director Waterford Treasures Museums

2. Wednesday 23^rdFebruary, 7.30 P.M. – The Presentation Sisters come to Waterford – Dr Eugene Broderick, Historian

3. Wednesday 2^ndMarch, 7.30 P.M. – Life and Death in 19^th century Waterford- St Otteran’s Burial Ground Ballinaneeshagh – Donnchadh Ó Ceallacháin – Keeper, Medieval Museum Waterford  

4. Wednesday 9^thMarch, 7.30 P.M. – Waterford Crystal, a factory at the heart of the community – Dr Martin Hearne, Historian
